Daniel Parejo Backs Cristiano Ronaldo For Success At Real Madrid

Real Madrid starlet Daniel Parejo believes Cristiano Ronaldo can bring the glory days back to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Manchester United confirmed through their official website today they have accepted a bid from Madrid for Ronaldo, worth €93 million euros (£80 million).

And Parejo, who spent six months in England last season on loan at Queens Park Rangers, is supporting the possible transfer.

“Ronaldo is a fantastic footballer and no doubt he will be a massive addition to our team,” he told Setanta Sports.

“He has proved his talent on many occasions thanks to world-class displays and no doubt he will bring his winning mentality to Madrid.”

With the world record transfer bid accepted by United, the Portugal international is now set to discuss personal terms with los Merengues.

The Red Devils expect the matter to be resolved by Tuesday 30 June. Goal.com
