Real Madrid and Barcelona both away to kick off Spain's match day 13

Both Real Madrid and FC Barcelona face difficult away games in the thirteenth round of matches in Spain's Primera Liga.

Real Madrid kicks off the weekend with a short trip south of the capital to play Getafe.

The side, coached by Bernd Schuster, has temporarily ended talkof crisis with narrow 1-0 wins over Recreativo Huelva in the Primera Liga and Bate Borisov in the Champions League on Monday. Although those games may have raised morale, Getafe, who drew creditably in the Camp Nou Stadium last weekend, should prove tougher rivals.

Real Madrid is still without six first team players with defender Gabriel Heinze the last player added to their injury list.

Barcelona also has a difficult away game as they visit Sevilla's Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium to play the side currently fifthin the table.

The match is a return to their former club for Barcelona pair Dani Alves and Seydou Keita. Both sides are almost at full strength with Leo Messi back for Barcelona, whose only notable absentee is left back Eric Abidal.

Third placed Villarreal will be hoping that the big two drop points on Saturday to take advantage of a trip to bottom of the table Recreativo Huelva.

Last weekend saw Villarreal pay for resting players ahead of their Champions League clash against Manchester United, as they lost 3-0 to Valladolid. Manuel Pellegrini's side is still without injured striker Joseba Llorente.

Valencia plays at home to Betis, a team that has recovered well following a poor opening month to the campaign. Valencia won 4-0 away to Rosenborg in the UEFA Cup on Thursday and the main worry for their coach Unai Emery is that his players may suffer from tiredness.

Elsewhere Atletico Madrid aims to celebrate with qualification for the last 16 of the Champions League with a home win against Racing Santander. After having to play behind closed doors in Europe, the Atletico players and fans will no doubt be looking forfurther motives for celebration against a Racing that also played UEFA Cup football on Thursday.

There will be high drama in Athletic Club Bilbao's San Mames stadium for the visit of Numancia. A win will lift Athletic out of the relegation zone with Numancia dropping into danger.

Elsewhere Espanyol coach Tintin Marquez desperately needs to see his side beat Sporting Gijon. Marquez has been questioned all week after a poor run of results and defeat will almost certainly mean he is sacked.

Almeria and Deportivo play in the Mediterranean Games Stadium, Malaga entertains struggling Osasuna and Valladolid wants to maintain a positive run of results at home to a Mallorca team that is perilously close to the relegation zone. Xinhua

Reggina's Orlandi Has Formula To Stop Juventus

Reggina coach Nevio Orlandi knows that the match awaiting his side this weekend against Juventus will be a tough one, but he believes that if they repeat the tactics and performances of the Udinese game, then they can obtain a positive result.

The morale of the Amaranti is extremely high and will be counting on this enthusiasm as they seek more survival points this weekend.

"I will use mostly the same tactics I used at Udine, even though some players can change," explained the Reggio Calabria side's coach. "That attitude was a balanced one for our away games, in my opinion.

"So far, we have prepared ourselves in every last detail for the away game in Turin. We shall choose the formation depending on the evaluations of the pitch.

"We must be careful all the time throughout the game."

Reggina had started the season poorly, but recent results, including their two consecutive wins have pushed them up from bottom position and just one point behind the survival line.

Schweinsteiger's future? Brandner will decide for him

There are only two months to go when Bastian Schweinsteiger will be authorized to sign a new contract. The 24 years old winger of Bayern Monaco and German national team player whose contract is expiring, continues to look around because he cannot find a satisfactory agreement with his current club.

REAL MADRID - Yesterday in Germany much was made out of Real Madrid’s slow down: First, they were very enthusiastic meeting the agent, then disappeared waiting for the right moment, and did not irritate Bayern.

JUVE AT WORK - Brazzo is helping with this negotiation. The Bosnian was Bastian’s teammate for six years and has already spoken with him about Juve. Karl Heinze Rummenigge, on behalf of Bayern, said: "We will do our best to keep him '

SARAH WILL DECIDE- If Brazzo has an excellent relationship with Schweinsteiger, he has another one with Sarah Brandner, a beautiful German model. The two have been together for several years and it seems that she can influence his future career. Bastian said yesterday: "I am tempted to have an experience abroad, even if at Bayern I am fine." “Frau Brandner” seems to have a different opinion, because her career in Germany is continuing to rise, but she is not as famous abroad. Therefore, it would be better to have Ms. Brandner as an ally, but it doesn’t seem to be easy.
